How to Play Royal Roulette 500X
Six steps from your first chip to a 500x Lightning hit: which bets the multipliers reach, what the 32:1 payout really costs, and how the call bets are built. The bonus features guide unpacks each mechanic in detail.
Open the Table and Pick a Chip
Royal Roulette 500X runs on a 37-pocket wheel with a single zero. Pick a chip value with the arrows on the left. In BGaming's demo the chips are 0.10, 1, 2.50, 10 and 50 FUN, with a range of 0.10 to 500 per round; at a casino the limits are set by the operator.
Choose a Layout
The Standard layout is the classic grid of 0 to 36 with dozens, columns, red/black, odd/even and 1-18/19-36. The Track is an oval in wheel order with four call bets: Zero, Tier, Orphelins and Voisins. Switch between them with the oval button next to the wheel.
Place Your Bets
Tap the spots you want. Double doubles every chip on the table, Rebet repeats last round, and Undo takes back your last move (hold it to clear everything). Check Total Bet before you spin, since a Voisins alone is 9 chips.
Decide What Can Catch a Multiplier
Lightning pays only on Straight Up bets. Splits, corners, dozens, columns and the even-money bets always pay standard odds. If every chip is on red, Lightning is just scenery.
Spin and Watch for Lightning
Press Spin and the round starts. Lightning can highlight one to three random numbers, each with a multiplier from x50 to x500. Your chips are already down by then, so there's nothing to react to.
See How the Round Pays
Ball on a highlighted number you backed Straight Up? You're paid the multiplier instead of 32:1, so x100 returns 100 times the bet. Ball on a plain number you backed? 32:1. Everything else settles at standard odds, and History adds the winning number to its list.
Bet Type Payouts
This is BGaming's official paytable. Lightning multipliers reach Straight Up bets on highlighted numbers and nothing else. A plain straight-up pays 32:1, not 35:1, and that gap funds the multipliers. Call bets are bundles of ordinary chips, so their payout depends on which chip wins.
Game Features
No bonus round, no free spins. Four things set this table apart from a plain wheel.
Lightning Numbers
When a round starts, Lightning can highlight one to three random numbers on the layout. Each one carries its own multiplier, anywhere from x50 to x500. The highlight lands after you've hit Spin, so there's nothing to chase while you place chips.
Multiplier Replaces the Payout
Hit a highlighted number with a Straight Up bet and you're paid the multiplier instead of 32:1. Not on top of it. BGaming's own example: a 100x number returns 100 times the bet, not 133 times.
Straight Up at 32:1
A plain straight-up win pays 32:1 here, so you get 33 chips back for the one you staked. That's three units under the 35:1 you'd see at a classic single-zero table, and it's the price of the Lightning layer.
Track Layout and Call Bets
Switch from the standard grid to the oval Track and you get four call bets: Zero, Tier, Orphelins and Voisins. Each is a pre-set bundle of 4 to 9 chips placed in one tap.
Strategy Tips
Bankroll first. BGaming rates the game Low volatility, and outside bets play that way. Straight-ups don't: a single number lands about once in 37 spins, most of those wins pay 33x back, and the big payouts only come when the ball finds a highlighted number. Budget for the gaps, and remember five straight-ups are five bets a round.
Know which bets Lightning can reach. Straight Up only. Every other bet pays standard odds and, on a 37-pocket wheel, returns 36/37 straight off the paytable. How you split a round between single numbers and everything else is the whole strategy here.
Hot and cold numbers are history. The Statistics panel is fun to read, but each spin is a fresh draw from a certified RNG. A highlighted number is no more likely to land than any other. The multiplier changes the payout, not the odds.
Be sceptical of exact odds for x500. BGaming publishes the range (one to three numbers, x50 to x500) and nothing about the weighting. A site quoting a precise percentage for a x500 hit made it up. Treat the top multiplier as a bonus if it comes, not a plan.
